The next SVC Broadcasting class starts on April 1, 2008.
Sign up for the 10 week (30 hour) course, learn how you can produce a basic music program, report and write a basic news story, and confidence in speaking on the air. This 3-credit college accreditated course costs about $240 (call SVC registration office 416-7654 for exact costs). For your tuition, you will get knowledge about professional radio station equipment operation, computer based editing, and 8-10 hours of live, hands-on broadcast time to get practical experience. (Headphones required, no book is required.) Refer to Media Broadcasting classes when you call. Once a student, you will also have exposure to live music recording, talk show set up, dramatic acting and recording, and editing and SFX techniques, as well as exposure to a wealth of musical variety. |
