2026 Tulip Festival Ambassadors on Skagit Talks

Every year we welcome the Skagit Tulip Festival Ambassadors to the studio to chat with Dave Johnson on Skagit Talks. This year, we have Ambassadors Lucy Geddes, and Baxter Kurz. Lucy is 11 and a 5th grade eagle at Island View Elementary School in Anacortes! Go Eagles! Baxter Kurz, who is 10, and also another 5th grade eagle, at Evergreen Elementary in Sedro-Woolley. Along with them we have Nicole Roozen the executive director of the Tulip Festival. We hear all about what the kids have been up to—visiting the governor, tours, and being in the Tulip Parade, which is always a fun highlight to their job.
