You may have heard about KSVR in the news recently. First in the Skagit Valley Herald with this article from Ava Ronning about the threat to the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB), which is a major funding source for KSVR as well as to other community radio stations, NPR stations, and PBS stations across the country.

This week we hosted Charlotte Alden of the Cascadia Daily News as well as Eric Wilkinson of KING5 television news to talk about our community radio station and the impact the potential loss of CPB funding would have.

There’s still time to try and stop these funding cuts, so if you think that public radio and public television and stations like KSVR have value we hope you, and your friends and family, will reach out to their senators to tell them to vote no on de-funding public media.
